Obama’s Win Loose Nightmare…
It’s interesting to me how Obama’s seemingly been on the loosing end of the stick these past two weeks since the Pensylvannia Primary, and how Reverend Wright has seemingly gained more attention. To think that Obama, even though denouncing the Reverend, is still being connected to him is detestable.
Who do we blame for the continuing connection? Look no further than The Media, or as many love to refer to them, the 4th Part of Government. Why is the Media so obsessed with this connection and why don’t they just let it go? Hillary’s obviously trying to steer clear of making any comments on the topic and puts up that half-clenched fake smile when asked a question on the topic.
Now Obama’s on the downslide and the Media is still living it up with the Reverend. MSNBC’s First Read illustrates what I am talking in their morning First Thoughts:
After Pennsylvania, a lot of folks — including us — figured that Obama would win North Carolina by as much, or even more, than Clinton won the Keystone State, thus erasing the gains she made there in delegates and the popular vote. But the race in Carolina is tightening from the double-digit lead he once held; a new Research 2000 poll has him up by seven points, 51%-44%. After several days of Jeremiah Wright dominating the news — plus some new polls showing an erosion of support — Obama’s back is against the wall, at least in terms of perception and momentum….
Considering the combination of Wright talk along with the point on eroding support – is this a subliminal connection? Wright is on everyone’s mind so Obama is loosing support.
I personally don’t get why it has to be this way and why people listen so much really to what the Media says, or worse yet, why do people follow the Media’s advise on how to vote, etc., and why.
Wright is old news, but then, is he? When even I am giving him time on The Political Mangu.
