Obama Going Negative? Really Hillary?

Hillary Clinton’s been attacking Barack Obama since the Debate last week because she claims that he has gone negative since then – because of his poor performance last week. In a recent post over on Fox News she explains how Obama’s going negative because he’s not a better choice than her, because, “While my opponent says one thing and his campaign does another, you can count on me to tell you where I stand, and you can count on me to tell you very specifically the solutions that I offer for America….”

She goes on to claim how she offers leadership he does not have – again indirectly saying that she has “more experience” than he does even though he’s been in ACTUAL office longer, and has actually been IN politics longer as well. I keep saying, and I hope most of you out there agree, that being First Lady does not give anyone direct “experience” in the actual ins and outs of the “political machine” – I mean, yes, yes, yes, she has experience, but let’s be realistic.

So, now, as she turns the claws back out at Obama as he tries to recoup from his performance last week – I won’t directly say he was weak, but he certainly could have done better, but how could he with ABC pounding over and over again on trivial questions? – Hillary’s going Health Care again, since it’s one of the few “real” things she can offer – but, wait? Didn’t her HealthCare ideas fail in 1993? Wasn’t it Hillary and her husband that started the Health Care mess that Americans live in today? Managed Health Competition was ALL Bill and Hillary – They gave birth to HMO’s, and the idea that someone can’t be covered for X or Y based on their medical predisposition quickly grew from there, because I mean when you make companies compete they tend to figure out ways to make bigger profits – HMO’s are not in it for free. Right?

To understand just why Hillary’s plan failed back in 1993, read an excerpt of the article, “Why Hillary’s Health Care Plan Really Failed” at Democratic Underground and read the whole article written by Vicente Navarro, Professor of Health and Public Policy at the Johns Hopkins University, and Professor of Political Sciences in the Pompeu Fabra University, Spain.

So, touting new reforms and wishing at a well, is what Hillary is resorting to now? If she can make Healthcare work now, that would be huge, but who’se really counting on her to do so?
