Counting Down the Time… Pennsylvannnia… North Carolina…
So it’s been a little quiet on the homefront these past couple of days and with the holiday season behind us we’re sure to see the rhetoric begin to pickup. Bill Clinton is busy stumping for Hillary, while Hillary is busy trying to bust Obama’s probably win in the primaries – I mean mathematically he’s up, even if Hillary might have a SMALL chance herself mathematicall. However as Obama racks up more contests I’m sure Superdelegates will sway in his direction. Obama’s just back from a long weekend with his family out of the limelight and life is good.
According to MSNBC’s First Read, “she does have a mathematical chance but her chances rest largely on the shoulders of these undecided SuperDelegates, some of whom are talking to the press about the handwrining they have. But for those calling for Clinton to get out, ask yourself, why? She does have a chance, sure it’s somewhat of a longshot but it’s not so improbable that the Obama campaign is ignoring her in the same way McCain did ignore Huckabee.”
So, why doesn’t Bill Clinton stop stumping for his wife? There are several pluses to him being involved, but far more negatives I believe as we think back to the yesterdays of the Clinton family and the roller coaster ride Bill’s indiscretions put our Country through. As we think back to Impeachment hearings and remember descriptions of sperm stained blue dresses and statements about not having “sex” with someone, do we really now have that much more respect for Bill?
Don’t get me wrong… I like the guy, but is he really helping his wife?
