Yes We Can…
As I watch the news unfold and see that Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico has endorsed Barack I can see now that the tide is about to turn big time. As the only Hispanic governor in the United States Richardson has a power that perhaps most of the pundits tomorrow will try to shade grey. Richardson can make Hillary run for the hills as she now begins to loose Hispanic votes to Obama, or at least we can only he has this effect.
Remember that Richardson was always a supporter of the Clinton family and a very close friend of Bill Clinton himself, so it may be notable that he’s now supporting Obama. The question is WHY? As reported by CNN the why is that Richardson says that, “It is time … for Democrats to stop fighting amongst ourselves and to prepare for the tough fight we will face against John McCain in the fall,” referring to the Republican nominee.
He continues on to say that Obama “can bring us the change we so desperately need by bringing us together as a nation here at home and with our allies abroad,” he said. It’s notable also that Richardson is the second former Presidential hopeful that has endorsed Obama. No one has endorsed Hillary from the remaining hopefuls. Is this no surprise? Is the Bandwagon getting smaller and smaller as more and more people jump on the ride.
Personally I’m happy Obama is getting this kind of press, and it’s no wonder… I mean beginning with his “Yes We Can” speech in January and following with his speech last week on Race relations. I mean see for yourself:

So with this said, is it no wonder that many many influential people in politics are now aligning behind Obama? Is it no wonder he’s won more primaries than Hillary even in states he wasn’t supposed to win? Is it no wonder more Superdelegates are jumping off the fence?
If you can’t follow then don’t hide. Learn about this movement because it certainly is ALIVE!
